The new Skyptero is very much the old Skyptero with the skill allowing you to return the unit to hand upon retire provided it's your turn. This skill works well together with the main theme of the clan, which retires your own units as the cost and the skill will allow you to rescue the unit. However, as the card doesn't contribute to the new Equip Gauge mechanic at all, it will be fighting for the same few spaces that the rest of the Equip Gauge cards will likely occupy.

However, it's important to note that with the Accel clan, the need for cards in hand and on field is definitely a priority. There's not really much to say about the card and we'll have to see what other cards are revealed for the clan. The set drops in just over a week's time so staytuned for box openings and the like, coming out very soon.
